From this September 2018, North Notts College will start delivering a new range of creative qualifications in the Retford Post 16 Centre.
RNN Group has received the keys to University Centre Rotherham (UCR), marking the build’s completion by contractors, Willmott Dixon.
The finishing touches truly make a difference as the handover from contractors Willmott Dixon to RNN Group gets closer. UCR lettering has been added to the atrium, totem signage put up to the mark the entrance and the outdoor amphitheatre now complete.
The latest development of University Centre Rotherham is the signage to signify the build as UCR, a university centre that will deliver degree-level courses to the local community.
UCR is set to open its doors and welcome its first huddle of students in September, and as we edge closer to the day when we’ll be able to count the remaining number of days on our fingers, we thought we’d take a look at the history of Doncaster Gate both past and present.
Thanks to contractors Willmott Dixon the latest build progress of UCR can be shared in a time-lapse video, showing from the first soil dug back in September, to the newest instalments of the outdoor amphitheatre for outdoor performances.
Students who have previously been invited to see UCR in its earliest build stages are invited once again to see UCR in its latest stages on Thursday 21st June.
The Higher Education team for UCR and partner Colleges within RNN Group, posed with new visuals of the development to promote the regeneration of Rotherham town centre.
