Natalie Dodds

Natalie’s professional journey into Further Education (FE) began approximately 15 years ago, following a successful early career in entertainment and radio broadcasting, which developed her exceptional communication and rapport-building skills. Since transitioning to FE, she has built significant expertise in apprenticeships, adult skills, and study programmes, working across both independent training providers and General Further Education colleges.

She joined the RNN Group in 2025 from another Further Education College where she served as the Academy Director for Building Technologies, leading on strategic development and budget management. Key achievements in that role included pioneering a Green Skills offering and achieving improved student outcomes. Prior to this, as Head of Quality & Compliance, Natalie was instrumental in guiding both the apprenticeship and nursery provisions to ‘Good’ Ofsted outcomes.

Natalie remains highly engaged with the wider sector as the Chair for the Yorkshire region of the British Association of Construction Heads (BACH). Furthermore, she contributes significantly to educational governance, serving as the Vice Chair to the Governors at Penistone Grammar School, where her link areas are Post-16 and Careers. Natalie is committed to professional excellence and holds an MA Education: Leadership & Management (Merit) from The University of Huddersfield.
