North Notts College was established on 23rd October 1930 as the Worksop County Technical Institute. It is within the ‘Mr Straw’s Conservation Area’ and the College houses the largest single building of note. The Institute was constructed with the ground of Carlton House and heavily financed by the Worksop Miners’ Welfare. It became North Nottinghamshire College for Further Education before joining the Group in 2017.

The Retford Post 16 Centre – now known as the Retford Education Centre – is part of North Notts College and this is based in Retford on the outskirts near the station, next to a leisure centre and it was added to the Group’s sites in 2018/19. The location is a rented location along with Diverse Academies and ten courses are focused on sport and media make up. There is also the In Sync Hair and Beauty Salon available for members of the public to use staffed by students.
