Dearne Valley College
Dearne Valley College was established in 1976, changing its name from Rockingham College in 1996 when it opened the new £7m main college site at Manvers Park, Wath-upon-Dearne.
This was built on an old colliery site and the TTC building used at the current site was the old pit office. It became part of the RNN Group on 1st February 2018. It has some unique courses including animal care and land-based courses which suit its semi-rural location. Its facilities include the DVC Gym open to the public, the College Co-operative in which students sell vegetables grown in the site, and the Aspirations Hair and Beauty Salon available for members of the public to use staffed by students.
