Sarah Connerty

Director of Governance

Sarah is a governance professional with 20 years’ experience in governance across General Further Education, Sixth Form and Higher Education governance. 

Sarah has strong experience of statutory and legal matters and codes of governance, and has a good understanding of Charity Law and good governance within the charity sector. She has worked on governance in mergers both for remaining and dissolving colleges, education administration, structure and prospects appraisals, estates, Board framework and structures, Board self-assessment and reviews, governor inductions and development, self-assessments and clerking of a Board. 

Sarah works as a mentor for the Association of Colleges for Governance Professionals joining the sector and as a governance advisor nationally providing interim support and guidance.
