RNN Group Celebrates National Careers and Love Your Colleges Weeks
RNN Group is celebrating National Careers Week and Love your Colleges week during 2nd – 6th March 2026 with a week-long celebration of all things careers and skills focused alongside showcasing College opportunities for our students to make the most of their College career too.
RNN Group (made up of campuses including Rotherham College, North Notts College, Dearne Valley College and University Centre Rotherham (UCR)) is hosting careers fairs at each of our campuses during the week to give students the opportunity to talk with employers about their next steps.
National Careers Week
National Careers Week is an annual event held to promote and focus students on careers and skills for the world of work with a week-long celebration.
RNN Group is putting on workshops and sessions on Power Skills, Customer Service training, Beat the System, Power for Women, Resilience and Mental Health in the workplace, CV Writing and much much more as well as opportunities for interview practice throughout the week.
Love Our Colleges Week
Love Your Colleges Week – promoted by the Association of Colleges – is focusing on Skills for All. It reflects the wide reach and inclusivity of colleges. Every day, colleges equip people from all walks of life with the education, training, and skills they need to succeed from young people starting out, to adults retraining, and apprentices learning in the workplace, colleges open doors and create opportunities.
There is a daily focus of adult learners on the Monday, young people on the Tuesday, Apprentices of all ages on the Wednesday, Higher Education on the Thursday and the College Community on the Friday.
