Sally is highly motivated CEO with experience, skills and qualifications gained within a place management, marketing and economic development environment. Her experience has been gained in both the private and public sectors, working for, and with the media.
She is experienced in the development, branding and marketing of two business innovation centres, setting up and developing the ‘Invest Newark & Sherwood’ brand and managing subscription-based membership schemes for North Notts Envoys, North Notts Training and Enterprise Council and the former Nottinghamshire Chamber.
One of her greatest achievements was in 2017 when she introduced, developed and delivered the UKs first ever area-wide business improvement district (BID) – the second largest in the UK. As CEO and director she controls all operational aspects, budgets and finances. The BID secured its second five-year term at ballot in 2022.
