Apprentice Breaking Down Barriers in the Construction Sector

Itโ€™s National Apprenticeship Week!

The aim of the week is to bring together everyone passionate about apprenticeships to celebrate the value, benefit, and opportunity that they bring.

This year’s theme is ‘Skills for Life’. Encouraging everyone to consider how apprenticeships can help individuals develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career and employers to develop a workforce with future-ready skills.

Here at the RNN Group, we have taken this opportunity to spotlight one of our award-winning apprentices, Jasmine Towriss, who is breaking down barriers in the construction sector.

Jasmine was successful in securing an electrical Apprenticeship with Eqauns and quickly demonstrated her commitment and dedication. Last year, Jasmin won the overall apprentice of the year for 2022 at our annual NAW Awards.

Since starting her course, Jasmine has developed significantly, and she is described as approaching every task with interest and vigour.

ย โ€œHer employers believe she is a great asset to the team with her infectious approach and determination to succeed, particularly so because she is in what is mainly a male workforce.โ€
