Community Courses at the RNN Group

With it being mental health awareness week, here at the RNN Group, many of our community courses can support with anxiety issues and confidence building.

We develop and roll out our community courses with our local partners to ensure we are responsive to the needs of our local communities and are very aware that the recent pandemic has left many people finding it hard to get back to socialising and face to face activities.

These courses support and help all members of our community of all ages to discover lost passions, find new ones, meet friends and socialise and enjoy learning something new.

We really do understand that for many people, confidence and starting over is hard and these courses not only help and support people in developing their confidence, but also with their careers too.

Our community courses are often available at a low cost or even for free, making them accessible to a wide range of people. This can be especially important for individuals who may not have the financial resources to enrol in traditional courses or programmes.

Not only that, our community courses are often offered at convenient times and locations, making it easier for people to fit them into their busy schedules. Many community courses are also available online – for anyone finding face to face too hard still. This allows people to access the course material at their own pace and from anywhere with an internet connection.

Many of our community courses often focus on teaching practical skills that can be immediately applied to real-world situations. This can be particularly valuable for individuals who are looking to gain new skills or improve their existing ones for personal or professional development.

Finally, the networking opportunities are brilliant as community courses can also provide opportunities for individuals to connect with others who share similar interests or goals. This can lead to valuable networking opportunities and even potential career or business connections, as well as friendships.

We have courses that range from building confidence through hand sewing, arts and crafts to improving creativity, British sign language to flower arranging and mindfulness, cookery to painting and drawing and much much more.

Overall, community courses can be a valuable resource for individuals who are looking to learn new skills, advance their careers, or simply pursue personal interests and hobbies.
