Momentous Football Academy Partnership
RNN Group has teamed up with Momentous Football Academy to launch a ground-breaking Football Academy, aimed at uniting education and sports seamlessly. This innovative initiative offers students the chance to excel academically while pursuing their passion for football, blending rigorous academic instruction with top-tier coaching.
Through an inclusive selection process, students from all curriculum areas and campuses within the RNN Group will have the opportunity to combine their studies with high-level football performance. This comprehensive programme empowers students to balance their academic pursuits with training and competition, potentially increasing enrolment within the RNN Group.
The programme will consist of the following:
- Training and games programme delivered by Momentous Football Academy (4 hours of coaching and 2 hours fixtures)
- Assessment of start points and progress
- FA qualified coaches (UEFA qualified), who will liaise with the Personal Development and Curriculum leads and staff
- Tailored technical and tactical coaching pathways
- Athlete conditioning
- Nutritional support and guidance
- Performance analysis
- Psychological and social developmental delivery
- Opportunities to progress into work experience and PT employment within the football coaching pathway with Momentous
- Momentous will become an Employer Academy and support the holistic development of the students of RNN Group
