T Level Employer Support Fund

Employers working in partnership with RNN Group can now access Government funding to help cover the costs of hosting T Level industry placements.

Designed to remove financial barriers, this support helps businesses cover essential costs, gain fresh talent, and offer students meaningful workplace experience.

What are T Levels?

T Levels are a technical qualification for learners aged 16-19, blending classroom study with real industry experience.

As part of the programme, students must complete a minimum of 315 hours, or approximately 45 days in the workplace.

This gives them the chance to apply their learning, work with experienced staff and gain the confidence and skills needed for their future career.

Hosting benefits

Hosting a T Level placement helps businesses build a pipeline of skilled young people who understand their industry while bringing fresh ideas and support for day-to-day tasks or longer projects.

Placements also provide staff members an opportunity to develop mentoring skills and strengthen links with local communities. Many employers see T Levels as a practical way to support future workforce development.

Employers can claim back essential costs, including:

  • Student travel expenses
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
