Wales High School Joins RNN Group’s School Partnership Programme

Wales High School becomes the 15th school to join RNN Group’s School Partnership Programme, further strengthening our network across South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire. Reaching this milestone marks a key step in building stronger connections with local schools and offering students opportunities to shape their future success

By joining this initiative, students at Wales High School will gain access to a range of exclusive benefits. These include bespoke taster days, VIP tours, and priority attendance at key events like GCSE and A-Level results days. Students will also be offered access to the Business Centre Rotherham along with tailored work experience placements, subject to availability and a pre-placement interview.

Hannah Feerick, Assistant Headteacher for Personal Development at Wales High School, shared her enthusiasm for the partnership:

“We are delighted to have been approached by RNN to be a flagship school, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with them. The support and information they have provided to our students have been extremely beneficial for their studies post GCSE and have encouraged our students to be ambitious in their future education and career choices.”

Students in our School Partnership Programme are guaranteed a place at one of our Colleges – Rotherham College, North Notts College, or Dearne Valley College – provided they meet the necessary entry qualifications. With 15 schools already signed up, this initiative offers an invaluable pathway to higher education, work experience, and personalised support for every learner.

Our commitment to every student’s success is at the heart of this programme, no matter the challenges they face. Through our Flexible Learning Experience (FLEX) department, we ensure that learners with specific needs receive tailored support to thrive as they take the next step in their education.

With Wales High School now part of this growing network, we are excited to continue expanding the programme and invite other schools to join us. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the futures of young people across the region.
